South west aspect. Some mortar rendering is visible on the upper part of the tower. This was to weather proof the structure, which is built of small, soft, stones. The south porch was restored in 1924. A memorial is built into the south wall of the chancel to John Freeman, d. 1796, a former rector. (Photo Apr 2008).
