House. Circa 1840. Plum brick with lighter red dressings, low stucco
plinth, and slate roof. A symmetrical, 2-storeys and cellar street house
facing N with 2 windows to each floor and round headed plastered recess
on 1st floor over central door. Recessed sash windows with 8/8 panes,
plastered reveals, and flat gauged red arches. Red brick jambs and
quoins. 4-panel flush-beaded door with stone step and wooden doorcase
with tall reeded uprights and head with corner blocks and paterae. Flat
moulded hood. Side passage at extreme W end of front has a 4-panel
flush-beaded door and boarding above under a 3-centred arch. A refined
design little altered.
