Farmhouse. Probably C17, remodelled mid - late C19. Slatestone rubble walls,
Delabole dry slate and scantle slate roofs with brick chimneys over gable ends. Main
rectangular north-east - south-west single depth block with parlour wing to south-
east, short wing to rear upper end and further low service wing to lower end with C19
infill between containing stair. 2 storeys. South-west 4 window front has central
C20 glazed door in C19 altered opening. Hornless 20-pane sash in opening altered C19
to right (straight joint to left and right of window) and 20-paned hornless sash to
left of door. 12-panes hornless sashes to first floor in openings heightened C19.
Shallow brick arches over openings are C19. Length of lower end left reduced when
gable end rebuilt C20. Parlour wing has 20-paned sash to ground floor and 12-pane
sash over. Interior features are mainly of C19 date. 1895 photograph rephotographed
