Detached dwelling. Early C18. Squared and coursed limestone to ground floor, ashlar
limestone above cill band, stone slate hipped roof. Two ashlar stacks with moulded
cappings. Compact block, central bay of main front to road brought forward slightly
and with small moulded pediment containing blind lunette. Two storeys and attic,
3-windowed, sashes with glazing bars in flush surrounds, 6-panel part glazed central
door in moulded architrave stopped to impost blocks, semi-circular pediment over,
carved with Master Weaver's insignia - unicorn, dolphin, shuttles and teazles. This
pediment is slightly bowed, and may have come from another property, although is
property belonged to a Uley clothier. Return wall, left, includes two hipped
dormers. Interior: C18 shutters, C19 stair.
