II
Detached cottage. Late C17-early C18. Limestone rubble with
dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof; former ashlar stacks now
replaced in coursed squared and dressed limestone. Rectangular
plan. C20 lean-to extension at the rear not of special interest.
Two storeys and attic. Two-windowed facade: one 2-light and one
3-light wooden casement, both with timber lintels to the ground
floor; two 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements to
the first floor; single central 2-light hipped roof dormer. Two
2-light stone-mullioned casements to the first floor at the rear.
Single-light garret windows to the gable ends. All casements with
horizontal glazing bars. Access via C20 lean-to at rear. Gable-
end stacks. Interior not inspected.
