House. Probably late C17 to early C18 with later alterations. Timber-
frame with weatherboards, brick and plaster infill on sandstone rubble
base. Thatched roof and sandstone stack. Three to four structural bays
aligned west-south-west/east-north-east. One storey and attic. South
elevation has two windows, 2-light late C20 glazing bar casements set in
eyebrow dormers. Ground floor has two similar lights and another of three
lights immediately to right of thatched glazed C20 porch. Rear elevation
is partly weatherboarded. Frame is three square panels high from cill to
wall-plate above which is raised roof. Angle struts from central wall post
to plate. Interior noted as having timber-framed cross-walls and heavy
ceiling beams. (RCHM, Vol III, p 3).
