Pair of large ornamental iron gates. Probably C19, and perhaps imported by
the Marquis de Casteja in the late C19. Wrought iron. Tall gates with
vertical bars, some wavy, mounted on matching standards, supported on a
lower stone wall outside them by large scrolled brackets sprouting wavy
branched stems. Reference: Pevsner, p.223.
