Barn. "T.L.Esqu. 1846" on keystone above cart entry. English
garden wall bond brick with slate roof. U-shaped range with
near-symmetrical 2-storey wings to either side of opposed
cart entries. 6 x 6 bays, each divided by flat brick piers.
Generally features include a dentilled eaves band, honeycomb
breathers, oval pitching eyes and a hipped roof. The opposed
cart entries have elliptical-arched heads with keystones.
Similar arches above doors and cart shed (blocked) within
courtyard. Steps at the end of each wing give access to
lofts at first floor. Various windows and doors have been
inserted during C19 and C20 (especially to east side).
