Cottage. Mid- to late C17 with C18 and late C19 alterations. Timber
framed with painted brick nogging on brick plinth, partly rebuilt and
extended in painted brick; C20 concrete tile roof. 2 framed bays.
One storey and attic. Plinth, dentil brick eaves cornice, and crow-
stepped parapeted gable end to left; integral brick end stacks and 2
gabled eaves dormers with 2-light casements. Framing: square panels,
4 from sole-plate to wall-plate. 2-window front; C20 three-light
casements with louvred shutters; central C20 boarded door has brick
porch with round arch. C20 one-storey lean-to addition to left with
2-light casement to front. Exposed timber framing and gabled eaves
dormer at rear. Interior: chamfered and stopped beams and joists;
chamfered fireplace lintel; timber framed cross-wall.
