Description

SP4735, SP43NE ADDERBURY AYNHO R0AD
(South side)
East End
7/3, 1/3 Pebsham and adjoining house

II
Row of 4 cottages, now 2 dwellings. Probably early C18, altered C19. Coursed
squared marlstone with wooden lintels; thatch roof with stone-and-brick stacks.
Single-unit plans, now linked. 3 storeys. Fronts have a small 2-light casement
to each bay of the upper floors, but have been altered at ground floor with
casements replacing former doorways. Stone stacks to right of each bay have been
repaired with brick. Interiors not inspected. An unusual example of an early
cottage terrace of 3 storeys.
