Farmhouse. Early C17, refronted C18. Square-panelled timber-
framing with tension bracing retained to rear, front rebuilt in
English garden wall bond brick, half-hipped thatched roof, brick
stack to right. Two-storey, 2-window. Blocked doorway and two
3-light plastic-framed casements to ground floor. Two 2-light
plastic-framed casements to first floor. Former kitchen extension
attached to right has C20 door in porch, lean-to pantiled roof with
brick stack. Left return retains timber-frame with wattle and
daub panels within attached shed. Rear retaining timber-frame on
rubble stone plinth has 2-light and single-light casement, two
eyebrow dormers, lean-to extension to left.
Interior has hollow-chamfered beam and open fireplace with timber
lintel on brick jambs, winding stairs against rear wall. Planked
or 4-panelled doors.
