Detached house. Early C17. Square-panelled timber-framing,
thatched roof with gable end stone or rendered brick stacks. Main
range with cross wing. Two-storey, 3-window. Door with 6
fielded panels in thatched porch to right of cross wing with two 2-
light segmental-headed casements to right, first floor has 2-light
casement and small oriel on carved bracket. Cross wing to left
has 2-light casement to ground and first floor of front, half-
glazed door on left return with thatched canopy. Left and right
returns rebuilt in dressed limestone. Rear has C20 lean-to
extensions, first floor has 2-light and 4-light casements, small
pair of sashes to right. Interior not accessible at time of
survey (July 1986), but said to have timber-framed partitions,
chamfered beams, open fireplaces with chamfered lintels on stone
jambs.
