Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C16, east wing added late C17.
Large framing with tension bracing to main range, square-panelled
timber-frame to C17 wing, south entrance front rebuilt in brick and
rubble stone, tiled roof with brick stacks. L-plan, former
through passage to rear of hall stack, 3-cell. Entrance now in
south gable-end of main range; two-storey, 2-window. C20 stone
porch with 4-panelled C19 door, 3-light segmental-headed casement
to right and 2-light casement to left. First floor has single-
light and 2-light casement. Right return is gable end of C17 wing
with attached C20 single-storey extension. Rear of wing retains
timber-framing and 2-light casements. Main range has rubble stone
to west ground floor; 2-light casement, blocked doorway to former
through passage to left of centre with 2-light inserted casement
and hoodmould, 3-light hollow-chamfered mullioned casement with
hoodmould and C20 door to right, rendered first floor has three 3-
light and one single casement. North gable end has rubble stone
infill to timber-frame, 2-light casement; east side has two 3-light
casements and 2-light casement in blocked doorway to rear of
through passage, three 2-light casements to first floor. Interior
not accessible at time of survey (July 1986), but said to retain
two open fireplaces, timber-framed partitions and chamfered beams.
