Open sided straw barn, late C19, three bays, comprising stone piers carrying a C20 roof. The two SW piers are in the form of strongly tapering circular columns with later brick cappings carrying the tie beams for the roof.
Included as a well-known local curiosity, and as an example of a building type erected in the later C19 to keep straw stacks under cover.
