Farmhouse of the early C19. Local rubble stonework with brick quoining and dressings, brick dentilled eaves, and a hipped tile roof. Two storeys and attic, with a cellar at the NW end. Three window bays, with gable stacks, and two storey 1-bay extensions at both ends.
Central pedimented doorcase with 6-panelled door and a radial semi-circular fanlight. Symmetrical boot scrapers on step. Sixteen paned sashes with rubbed brick flat arches, and false window recesses at attic level. Coved stone cornice.
The end bays have rounded outer corners, and tripartite 12-paned sash windows wrapping round, although replaced on the W extension, and hipped roof.
At the rear, a central 2-bay wing forming a T-plan, with gable stack, the N and E sides having later tiled lean-to additions. Two tall round headed windows to upper floor of main block, one on either side, crossing attic floor.
