Description

Circa 1820. 2-storey, 3-bay classical terraced house. Cream ashlar sandstone, rusticated at ground, stugged at 1st floor. Base course; band course above rustication; cill course to 1st floor; cornice and blocking course. Deep-set door panelled with rectangular fanlight to right bay. Regular fenestration in remaining bays.

2-bay rubble rear elevation.

Timber sash and case plate glass windows. Grey slates; coped ashlar stack with secondary ashlar and brick stack to rear wallhead. Ashlar coped mutual skew to left.

WALL: low rubble wall to front with saddleback ashlar coping.

Statement of Interest

Forms part of a continuous terrace; laid out by Robert Burn in 1808.
