Circa 1840 - 1846. Single storey, 3-bay cottage. Rubble, formerly rendered/painted.
W (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: door at centre. Windows in outer bays.
N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 19 Main Street (see separate listing).
S ELEVATION: adjoined to No 23 Main Street.
Modern glazing. Red sandstone coped skews to S. Broad, rubble mutual gablehead stacks to N and S. Small grey slates, with purple slate easing course. Two modern rooflights.
No 21 Main Street was built sometime between 1840 and 1846; it is not shown on the "Plan of the Village of New Luce" of 1840, but is shown on the OS Map of 1846-47.
