Mid 19th century. Single storey, 5-bay (2-3) pair of cottages;
No 1 in 2 bays to left. Harled. Protruding cills.
W (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: boarded doors in bays to left and right of centre. Windows in remaining bays.
N AND S ELEVATIONS: gabled and blank.
Plate glass glazing in sash and case windows. Red sandstone coped skews. Broad, harled gablehead stacks to N and S. Small grey slates. No cans. (Formerly with ridge stack and skew between 2nd and 3rd bays).
