Date difficult to determine; 19th century in appearance, but
not all one build, and likely to contain earlier fabric (1657
datestone is re-set). 2-storey house. Long SE elevation faces
Solway Firth, transversely-set range at SW has curve bays at
2 diagonally opposite angles (that nearest Solway perhaps
20th century). 2 other gables to rear elevation. Whitewashed
rubble and harl, contrasting painted margins; corniced
stacks; slate roofs.
Steading also contains re-used carved stonework.
