Description

P and R Fleming of Glasgow, manufacturer, 1897 (inscribed

plate). Pedestrian suspension bridge over River Annan. Cast-iron-columned tall pylons with finials. Timber decking

supported by wire cables and iron ties. Steps either side

built of rubble and concrete; gate at E end.
