Description

2 storey farmhouse of symmetrical Georgian origin, additions

to south front from mid 19th century. Whinstone walls, droved

dressings, south front with gable forward on right, slate

roofs, skew gables, finial. 3 windows, paired lights to 1st

floor right, rectangular dripmould, 3 light stone bay to

ground floor, 2 storey splayed bay to left. Centre porch with crenellated parapet. Single-storey extensions to gable ends.

Original Georgian sashes in rear elevation. Square stone

gatepiers, double wrought-iron gates and railings to driveway

are mid-Victorian.
