Walls, piers and gate to No.92

GV II

Boundary wall with piers and gate. Mid C18 with C20 alterations. Rubble and ashlar. Wall runs full width of house frontage (qv) to Magdalen Road, and returns to Holloway, abutting porch to St Mary's Chapel (qv). Opposite main door pair of large square piers to cappings, each sidewall rises to approx 1.6m with coping, swept down at left hand end, and up to right. At corner large rusticated pier with moulded capping and ball finial. Return wall includes plank door to swept raised lintel.
