Row of 3 houses, possibly originally a single dwelling. Early
C18. Coursed and squared red sandstone with stone flagged and
slate roofs.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range comprising 2-window range
with gabled cross wing (the wing probably a separate phase of
building). Paired doorways to 3 and 4 in moulded architraves,
with heavy stone jambs. Windows each side of doors also in
stone architraves, and originally mullioned. Similar windows
to first floor, the stone mullions removed. Doorway with
window on each floor, with plain painted stone lintels in 5
which occupies the gabled cross wing, and is believed formerly
to have been a bakehouse. End wall and axial stacks. Coped
gables.
