House and shop. Mid - late C18, altered. Red brick in Flemish
bond with painted ground floor. Welsh-slate roof with painted
brick dogtooth eaves and shared end-stack on left.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. 2-window range, of 6/6 sashes to 1st
floor, smaller 3/3 sashes above, all with painted channelled
voussoirs, keystones and sills. At centre of 1st floor, iron
sign bracket. Ground floor: corniced fascia; shopfront has 2
plate-glazed bay-windows with corner mullions, decorative
arched heads, and moulded sills, flanking plate glass door
with decorative head and shallow overlight; further entrance
at right end has overlight and 6-panel door.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: formerly a cobbler's shop, the left-hand
shop-window retaining imprint on glass.
