Primitive Methodist Chapel and
attached railings and gate

II

Primitive Methodist chapel. 1842. Red brick. Welsh slate roof
with gabled ends. Small rectangular single-cell building with
entrance at east end.
EXTERIOR: single storey. Gabled east front with central brick
gabled porch with stone lintel and panelled door; to left and
right large 16-pane cast-iron window with central opening
light, in cambered arch openings with stone sills; similar but
smaller window in gable above and stone tablet above that,
much weathered. North and south sides blind. West gable end
has 3 staggered windows and smaller window in gable above.
INTERIOR: arch-braced roof trusses. Furnishings removed.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: cast-iron railings and gate with urn
finials, in front enclosing small graveyard area.
