GV II

Pedestal tomb and surrounding railings. Early C19. Sandstone
ashlar. Cast-iron railings. Tomb has plain lid with beaded
edge set on moulded cornice and surmounted by stone cross
shaft now broken and displaced. Recessed panels with raised
oval inscription tablet and raised gadrooned corners. Doric
columns set in recessed corners. Plain plinth with recessed
sides. Commemorates Rev William Morgan d.18..., Mary his wife
d.1837, Rev George Morgan d.1867 and Dame Elizabeth Horham his
wife d.1851. Railings have corner standards with urn finials,
spear-head balusters with moulded top rail. Plain chamfered
ashlar plinth.
