GV II

House, former rectory. Mid C18. Stuccoed brick; hipped renewed
tile roof with lateral stacks. H-plan with lower service wing
to left return.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Centre has plain parapet.
Round-headed entrance has architrave with imposts and key
block, fanlight with radial glazing bars over single-panel
door; round-headed hood on slender brackets with later posts.
Entrance is flanked by truncated lozenge-shaped windows. To
first floor one segmental-headed 3/3 sash with sill, and brick
arch. Flanking advanced bays both have one 8/8 sash to each
floor within moulded frames. 2 lateral stacks. Service wing
has catslide outshut, entrance with 6-flush-panel door, 2
panels glazed. Gabled dormer with 2-light leaded casement;
stack to roof slope.
Left return has 2 lateral stacks and single-storey stone
range.
Rear has brick cornice; entrance to left of centre with
overlight with decorative glazing bars and small-paned
half-glazed door in altered porch, 4:12:4-pane tripartite sash
to right; left wing has small-paned bowed window and right
wing has French window, each with 16-pane sash above; first
floor has 2 windows with 12-pane horned sashes, and one to
inner return to left with small dormer above.
Right return has cross-axial stack and leaded glazing to small
window.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
