Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, extended C18. Coursed limestone rubble;
plain-tile roof with stone and brick gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys plus
attics. 4-window front has central 6-panel door cut into a 4-light window with a
4-light window to right and a 3-light to left; at first floor, windows of 3
lights flanking a pair of,2-light windows. All windows have concave-chamfered
stone mullions and formerly had labels. Roof hipped to right, returning to rear
wing. Brick stack to left and large chimney projection to right. Stone mullioned
windows of 2 lights in right return wall and 3-light window with label in rear
gable wall. L-plan infilled with C18 wings of one storey plus attics. Interior:
Chamfered and stopped beams; old stair with winders; remains of large open
fireplace. Granary and larger of barns formerly included in listing are now
demolished.
