House. Early C17, altered C18/C19. Limestone rubble and brick with some timber
framing; thatched roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan, formerly with lobby
entrance. One storey plus attics. 3-window front with renewed brickwork at first
floor has door to right of centre, 2 casements to left and one to right, and has
3 half dormers. Windows all C20. Stacks to left of centre and left gable. Roof
is hipped to right over an ancient weatherboarded outbuilding which conceals the
timber-framed gable wall. Interior: 2 open fireplaces, one with an inglenook;
remains of first-floor timber framing; timber-framed cross partition with
blocked Tudor-arched doorway; clasped-purlin roof.
