Farmhouse. Early C19. Red brick on dressed red sandstone-plinth; hipped
slate roof. Square plan. 2 storeys over basement. Plinth and dentil
brick eaves cornice; brick ridge stack to south-west and large external
lateral brick stack to north-east with gabled link to roof. North-west
front: 3 bays, glazing bar sashes with painted stone lintels. Central
6-panelled door (lower 2 panels flush, top 4 glazed) with reeded impost
band, radial fanlight, impost blocks and banded rustication; Greek Doric
porch with unfluted columns and pilasters, entablature, and blocking
course, raised in centre. Right hand return front: 1:1:1 bays. Central
break has tall blind round-arch with stone cill, and painted stone impost
blocks and keystone. Left-hand return front with ground-floor lean-
to and blocked round-arch in stack. Interior not inspected.
