Farmhouse, now house. Mid C18 with mid C19 addition to right. Flemish bond brick with brick dentil cornices, and some regular coursed sandstone. Plain-tile roofs; brick end, external and ridge stacks. Complex T-plan.Two storeys and basement and two storeys and attic; six bays.
Front is at right angles to the road. Mid C19 symmetrical three-bay entrance range on right has late C20 half-glazed doors. Trellis porch has nipped roof. Ground floor has two-pane sashes; first floor has three-light casements with glazing bars. All openings have brick cambered arches. Return side to road has external stack. Projecting central range has parallel roof. Low ground floor of sandstone has two C19 two-light casements with brick segmental arches. Blocked opening above. Right return side has late C20 two-light casements with glazing bars and brick segmental arches. First floor window inserted in blacked opening. Moulded stone cornice breaks each side of a smaller attic window. Blocked gable window. One-light window in angle. C19 one-storey range on left has three-light horizontal sash with folding shutter. Two-bay range set back on left has stone basement, string course and rusticated alternating quoins. Basement has central plank door and two-light chamfered muilioned windows. Ground floor has window openings with segmental arches; first floor openings are blocked.
Interior noted as having chamfered beams.
