Farmhouse, mid. C18, perhaps enlarged later. Brick, slate roof with chimneys
on ridge and at right gable. Double pile plan of 3 bays (possibly originally
2, with a 3rd added on the left). Stone band at 1st floor, brick band at
2nd floor level. Door offset to right, 3 ground floor windows and 4 1st floor
windows, all these with slightly arched heads 1½ bricks deep, all except those
in 1st bay alternating red and brown bricks; all windows have wooden cross-
framed casements. Rear wall has inter alia, 4 similar windows, a narrow
stairlight on 2 levels, and a single storey porch with stone flagged roof;
there is a straight joint at junction of 1st and 2nd bays. Gables have attic
windows, that on the right a 3-light sliding sash.
