Terrace house. c1722. Brown brick, tiled roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered man-
sard. 3 windows wide. Doorway to right with panelled door in architrave case and good
shell hood on scrolled iron brackets. Recessed glazing bar sashes under flat red brick
gauged arches. Parapet with coping. Wrought iron area railings. Original cornet rain-
water head and lead down-pipe. Part of an exceptionally well preserved early C18 enclave
of housing together with Cowley and Lord North Streets qv.
