House. c1600, restored mid-C20. Timber-framed with painted brick and
rendered infill, brick plinth, replacement walling and refacing; machine-
tiled roof. Single framed bay aligned east/west; large external chimney
with tiled offsets at east gable end. Single storey and attic with dormer.
Framing: two and three panels from sill to wall-plate; short straight braces
across upper corners; no trusses visible. Windows are all C20 leaded case-
ments. North elevation has two ground floor 2-light windows. Gabled dormer
with rectangular light in south elevation. Attic lights in gable ends.
Main entrance at west gable end has a half-glazed door. Interior: timber-
framed partition near west end; large fireplace with bread oven at east end.
A C20 timber-framed, single-bay, single-storey and attic addition adjoins
to the south side, constructed partly from re-used timber.
