Detached cottage. C16/C17 origins. Local lias stone cut and squared; thatched roof with plain gables, brick end chimney
stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Casement windows, C20 with diamond leaded panes, lower windows under continuous label; C20
boarded door bay 2, set under thatched hood on timber brackets; in an apparent extension on west gable a C20 3-light
oriel window, then a former farm building, with doorways blocked on roadside, under corrugated asbestos monopitch roof;
further long plain extension to east gable. Interior not seen, but reported are two-room with cross-passage plan,
almost full width gable fireplaces, collar truss roof: similar in many respects to Henley Farmhouse (qv) and Windsor
Farmhouse (qv) nearby. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, 1972).
