Detached cottage. C16 origins, modified early C20. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared; triple roll clay tiled
roof with plain gables; brick chimney stacks with traditional baffle tops. Two storeys, 3 bays. Metal casement windows
with leaded lights, 3-light below and 2-light above, the latter set into small pitched roofed dormers; C20 boarded door
in timber and tiled open porch bay 2. C20 single-storey extension to north gable. Inside left room has a 4-panelled
chamfered beam ceiling and modified gable fireplace; right room has transverse beams with stopped run-out stops, north
gable fireplace with brick oven; collar beam roof trusses. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, 1973).
