House in row, with shop on ground floor. Originally probably early
C17, raised to 3 storeys in C18, with projecting shop front of C20.
Random coursed rubble stone up to dripmould over first floor,
coursed stone above. Slate roof to front, stone slate roof to
rear, rear lateral stack. Single front range of 3 storeys with
projecting half-hipped wing to rear of 2 storeys. Three windows,
4-pane sashes. First floor originally probably had 3-light stone
mullion to each side with continuous dripmould raised in centre
over probable 2-light stone mullion and transom (larger beaded
moulding still in place), with relieving arch over. Former three-
light to each side now partially filled by stone walling and
partially lengthened for sashes. Throughway to right on ground
floor with voussoir flat arch.
