5/106 Nightingale Hall

GV II

House. Mid-C18, extended in C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with slate
and handmade red plain tiles. Square plan facing SW, with C19 extensions to
left and right. 2 storeys with attics. 2:3:1 window range of C18 and early C19
sashes with glazing bars. Central doorcase with moulded frieze and pilasters.
Dentilled cornice and parapet. The right extension has the original doorcase
with broken pediment, and long projecting eaves. Hipped roofs on original house
and right extension, left extension gabled to front. Extensive C18 and early
C19 internal detailing.
