Cottage, late C17, altered, of brick-nogged oak small framing with
tiled roof. l½ storeys plus cellar; 2 windows. Small boarded loading
doors to cellar. 9-pane replaced casements of C19 vernacular type,
those to bedrooms in dormers with sprocket roofs. Brick chimney on
ridge. Formerly a lobby-entrance plan with inglenooks, but now with
front doorway blocked and small 4-pane casement inserted.
Interior not inspected. The dwelling was unoccupied when inspected
(July 1984).
