GV II
House, late Georgian, of irregular bond brown brickwork with grey
slate roof. 2 storeys, plus attics; 3 windows. 5-panel door (with
lower panels fielded, upper panel glazed) in pedimented case of wood;
4 stone steps. Flush 12-pane sashes. Flush gable chimney of 2 flues,
right, and projecting 4-flue gable chimney left. Early C19 1-bay
blank extension, left.
Interior: Brick-lined rock-cut cellar. 5-panel doors to lower
storey. Oak stair of 1 flight to upper storey plus 1 flight to attic
has moulded brackets, reeded newels, swept rail (except at top of
upper flight), stick balusters. Doors of 5 and 6 panels to bedrooms,
1 fielded; door of 3 broad boards to right attic.
