Farmhouse: mid C18 with C20 additions to side and rear. Flemish bond red brick with yellow headers. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 2 gable brick chimneys. 2½ storeys, symmetrical, 3-bay front. End bays have 3-light wooden casements (replaced and deeper than originals) under cambered brick heads. Central framed and boarded door under cambered brick heads has 2-light casement and a fixed 4-pane window in a gabled half dormer above. Left gable end has 6 windows, 4 under segmental brick arches and one with original (fixed) 4-pane glazing.
Interior: Some havy ceiling beams but little else reported.
Identical to Dean Green Farmhouse, Nether Alderley (q.v.) and very similar to Walton's Farmhouse, Nether Alderley (q.v.) and several other Stanley estate farms of this date.
