Farmhouse: mid C18. Flemish bond red brick, Welsh slate roof, 2 gable
brick chimneys. 2½-storey symmetrical 3-bay front. End bays have
3-light wooden casements under cambered brick heads. Similar head
over framed and boarded door and 2 2-light casements above, the upper
in a gabled half dormer. 2 one-storey additions to rear and a blocked
2-light square-sectioned stone mullion.
Identical front to Gatley Green Farmhouse, Nether Alderley (q.v.) and
one of a group of similar Stanley estate farms of this date.
