Handed pair of cottages. Early Cl9. Timber framed, plastered with inscribed
lines, slate roof. 4 bays facing SW, with 2 internal stacks behind ridge. 2
storeys. Each has one original splayed bay of 4-12-4 lights supported by a
twisted wrought iron bracket, a one-window range of original sashes of 16 lights
with some crown glass, and a 4-panel flush door. The rear elevation of Pippins
Cottage has original horizontally sliding sashes, one of 24 and one of 12 lights
on each floor, the first floor window of 24 lights altered to casements.
