House, now a restaurant. C17, altered in C18. Timber framed, plastered with
some weatherboarding at sides, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Square
plan, with internal stack at right side. 2 storeys and attics. At left, C19
shopfront of 2 bays projecting from the house, rounded at the sides, with
central double glazed doors. To right, C20 glazed door with dentilled cornice
on scrolled brackets, early C19, and one early C19 sash of 20 lights with
cornice. First floor, 3 C18 sashes of 12 lights. Attic, 2 C18 sashes in lean-
to dormers. Plaster band at first floor level, moulded cornice and parapet,
hipped roof. Engraved brick in rear wall, dated 1823.
