House. C16, altered in C18. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red
clay tiles. L-plan, consisting of main range facing NW, 2 bays and an-archway,
with one axial stack, and 3-bay range to rear of right end, with one axial
stack. Porch with catslide roof in rear angle. Main range of 2 storeys, rear
range of one storey with attics. One window range of late C19 sashes of 6
lights. Half-glazed door in C18 moulded doorcase with dentilled cornice on
scrolled brackets. Large cartway through to left, with elliptical arch and side
walls of C20 brick, but original roof over. The left elevation of the rear
range has 2 C20 casements and 3 more in dormers, of which 2 are swept and the
middle one is gabled. No access to interior at time of survey, July 1984. RCHM
