2 houses, combined to form one house and shop. C16 and C18, altered in late
C19. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. House of 3
bays facing SE, and house of 4 bays to the right, with an axial stack at the
junction. A flat-roofed shop, early C20, extends forward from the middle,
occupying more than half of the street elevation. Left house, 2 storeys with
attics, right house of 2 storeys. Ground floor, double doors of garage (in left
bay of left house), shop windows, C19 splayed bay window. First floor, 7 late
C19 sashes of 4 lights. 3 C19 casements in gabled dormers in gambrel roof of
left house. Glazed shop doors and 6-panel door with top panels glazed. RCHM
