Chest tomb. Dated 1818 in memory of John Churchill. Portland stone with white
marble plaque. Rectangular in plan with flat soffit-moulded lid and moulded base.
The sides have simple recessed panels with bead-moulded surrounds. The central
marble panel on the north side is inscribed and records the death of John
Churchill, a fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, in 1818.
