Bridge over disused leat. Dated 1868. Snecked local mudstone abutments with grey limestone ashlar caps, cast-iron bridge and parapet. Single span bridge between vertical abutments with a simple projecting drip course at road level and terminal piers above with low pyramidal caps which include panels of rustication on their sides. Because of the angle of the leat the terminal piers are rhomboid rather than square in section. The bridge itself is flat and the road carried on cast iron girders. The outer faces are moulded. The tubular railings are carried each side by 3 moulded and circular-section uprights which rest on shaped corbels. Each side bears the bas-relief legend in bold capitals 'KERSLAKE ENGINEERS, EXETER, 1868'.
