House, circa 1725 with C19 and C20 alterations. Thinly-rendered rubble with
coarse sandstone ashlar dressings, quoins and part boulder plinth; stone-
flagged roof with stone ridge and stone gable copings. Main range with 3 rear
wings. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the fourth wider; one-storey, 2-bay farmbuildings
set back at left; one-storey, one-bay right extension. One-storey porch, in
second bay, has embattled parapet over renewed double doors in segmental-
headed moulded stone surround with dropped key. Plain sashes with flat stone
lintels and projecting stone sills. Battlemented parapet over right extension
with C20 masonry and glazed door with glazing bars. Roof has curved kneelers;
3 corniced ridge chimneys with strings. Rear wings slightly lower, with
gables treated in similar manner; side stone steps to first-floor door in
right wing.
Interior shows large chamfered beams; round-headed corner cupboard in one
ground-floor room.
