Range of cottage, 2 houses, cottage and outbuilding. Dated 1836.
Coursed rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Cottage at left end:
plain stone surrounds to openings; C20 4-panel door, 1 bay of sash
windows; shaped kneeler and end stack to left. Single-storey stable and
outbuilding project gable-end to road. First house: 2 first floor
windows; plain stone surrounds to openings; central doorway with C20
4-panel door and decorative timber porch; sash-like casement windows,
end stacks. Second house: 1 first floor window; doorway with plain
stone surround, panel on lintel inscribed 'J B 1836', C20 glazed door;
C20 bay window on ground floor; on first floor sash-like casement window
in plain stone surround with roundel on lintel. Cottage at right end:
board door in stone surround with herring-bone tooling and 3 roundels on
lintel; on ground floor 4-pane fixed-light window in stone surround with
herring-bone tooling and roundel on lintel; C20 casement on first floor.
Outbuilding to right: on ground floor 4-pane fixed light windows; on
first floor C20 casement. To right, stable and garage doors, with 2 C20
casement windows above.
